We welcome applications for trainee positions! But you should follow several tips and rules to ensure your application is successful:
 

1. Inform yourself
If you apply for a trainee position with us, you should know exactly why! You should therefore use all the sources of information you can find to discover more about your dream job. The "Agentur für Arbeit" (job centre) or the internet will help you. Short-term periods of "taster" practical training or work experience provide a good basis for your training decision.

2. Pay attention to the requirements
It doesn't matter how interested you are in a career if you do not fulfil the basic requirements for successfully completing the training. You should therefore note our recommendations regarding school-leaving qualifications. In addition, you should have good grades in maths and German. If you are interested in technical training your natural sciences grades should also be good.

3. Send us complete application documents
The letter accompanying your application must clearly explain to us precisely why you would like to do this training and what makes you suitable. A small tip: Get somebody to check the letter so grammatical or spelling errors don't creep in.

Your curriculum vitae should be clear and in particular should include details of your education and periods of practical training / work experience. You must also enclose your last two school reports as well as written confirmation of work experience or practical training as references.

4. Apply early
The sooner we receive your application the sooner we can look at it. You should therefore send us your application for the next training year from October of this year, by the end of February at the latest.

5. Prepare yourself
No matter whether for an aptitude test or an interview: Prepare yourself! You can find out what to expect in relevant books or on the internet. Your parents or teachers are bound to have some tips for you too.

6. Show us your enthusiasm
For us it is important that trainees enjoy what they are doing and are committed. You should therefore show us your enthusiasm for the training position! Especially in the interview, you should convince us that you know precisely why you want to do this training with us.
