To contain the spread of the virus, more stringent hygiene measures have been introduced at all sites, and participation in internal and external events has been discontinued. All business trips have been suspended until further notice. As far as operational processes allow, our employees are working from home.
Due to the contact restrictions, we temporarily stopped the travel activities of our customer account managers. If it is absolutely necessary, from week 18 onwards, a visit to your site is possible on request and in compliance with the hygiene regulations. To provide you with as uninterrupted support as possible, our specialists are available via video telephony e.g. via Skype. Over the last few weeks, we have already begun taking measures to try to minimise potential disruption to the supply chain. These include a daily inventory analysis, increasing stock levels as well as communicating closely with our suppliers. These measures have ensured that we currently have good delivery capacity. However, as the situation is developing dynamically, we are having to reassess matters on an almost daily basis. We will be proactive in informing you should our delivery capacity be significantly restricted.
You can rest assured that we are taking all necessary and possible protective measures. The health of all of us is our main priority in the current situation. Therefore let us all play our part in implementing the necessary measures together.
