Bridge design from clean room profiles

Problem definition
In a production plant for pharmaceutical products a mobile bridge construction over a conveying path is required as part of the fire protection concept. The purpose of this bridge is to ensure that the nearest escape door can be reached and ensure compliance with the escape routes. The bridge construction must be made from non-flammable, clean-room-compliant materials and be non-slip for occupational safety reasons. In addition, the bridge must be able to withstand a load of at least 240 kg and must not affect the transportation of products beneath it.

Bridge construction consisting of staircase and guardrail elements with Series 40 closed cleanroom profiles. The use of mk stair profiles and chequer sheet on the platform ensures that the stepping surfaces are non-slip. The bridge can be removed for cleaning and maintenance work on the bridge and the conveying path below. All surfaces are resistant to common cleaning agents. The design was carried out in accordance with the regulations of the occupational health and safety directive (traffic routes).
