mk offers a modular system designed for mechanical engineering and factory automation. With over 200 aluminium profiles and 30 conveyor systems, mk offers both flexible solutions and a high degree of standardisation. High-quality materials, sturdy connection technology and durable accessories ensure a high load capacity and long service life. The specialists at mk also offer assistance in the planning, design, assembly and commissioning of complex interlinking solutions, including control and after-sales service.

The mk Technology Group produces profile and conveyor technology for various applications, utilising 38,000 square metres of production space globally.

mk operates its own subsidiaries in Germany, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and the USA, and collaborates with sales partners in 12 additional European countries and the USA.

60 years mk

1966 was an eventful year – and also the year when Hans-Josef Kitz launched his own mechanical engineering company. Starting from a small garage, it rapidly expanded: Initially, Kitz produced machines and components for local businesses, before introducing his first standard conveyor in 1972. Today the mk Technology Group, which evolved from Maschinenbau Kitz GmbH, operates on a global scale and supports its customers in optimizing production processes around the world. The company’s success stems from its distinctive combination of global focus and local roots – as well as its strong family tradition.
