Internship and practical semester 

For many years now, universities and colleges have increasingly been demanding that students combine the theoretical foundations learned during their studies with practical experience. At mk, you have the opportunity to complete internships or a practical semester during your studies and to work on various projects independently. At the same time, you will gain exciting insights into the work processes of a global mechanical engineering company and benefit from our over 55 years of experience.

Basic engineering internship

At our location in Troisdorf, we offer six-week pre-university basic engineering internships. The content of the internship is based on the specialist knowledge and skills required for your course of study, with a particular emphasis on teaching manual and mechanical skills. Based on the requirements of your university or technical college, we will individually tailor the learning areas and the scope of your activities during the internship.

Semester paper, bachelor’s or master’s thesis

We offer support when you are writing your term paper, for example finding a suitable topic or subsequent work. At the end of your studies, you can complete a project-related final thesis with us, for example a bmachelor's or aster's thesis. We aim to provide intensive support and close supervision so that both sides ultimately benefit from the cooperation.
