Workpiece carriers for mk Conveyor Technology and Transfer Systems

Workpiece carriers are used to transport workpieces along a production line. The workpieces are attached to the workpiece carrier in a fixed position so that they can be transported through various machining stations. mk workpiece carriers are custom-manufactured and can be adapted to suit any requirements.

mk workpiece carriers consist of individual components as standard. They can be custom-configured to suit your specific application, whether they are delivered fully assembled or for self-assembly.

  • Aluminium profile frame (mk 2260 profile) with corner pieces
  • PE-1000 plastic wear strips below the profile frame
  • Support plates in varying thickness: 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm
  • Bumpers/rubber buffers
  • Positioning sockets

Workpiece carriers can also be custom-manufactured from alternative materials such as solid aluminium, stainless steel, plastic or aluminium profiles to suit your particular conveyor system, product or environmental conditions. If the workpiece geometry or machining requirements necessitate a custom workpiece fixture, we can manufacture these on request. We will be happy to design workpiece carriers for your particular application or manufacture them according to your drawing.

Note:
To ensure optimal guiding of the workpiece carrier, its width must always the dimensions of the conveyor system (clear width minus 2–4 mm). The permitted total weight per workpiece carrier is determined by the total load capacity per meter of the system.

The workpiece carriers on the DGF-P 2001 transport system are made from solid aluminium (3.1325) as standard. The pallet width is always determined by the dimensions of the conveyor system (W minus 11 mm). The minimum length is 90 mm. Alternative workpiece carrier materials can also be used depending on the product to be transported.
