Problem definition
A medical laboratory requires base cabinets for automatic measuring devices and automatic pipettes. The cabinets must be able withstand particular conditions, such as resistance to laboratory cleaning agents and vibrations from the devices placed on them. In addition, it must be possible to lock some of the cabinets and they also need to be mobile.
mk solution
Two different variants of base cabinets were constructed from Series 40 profiles with closed slots. The table tops and shelves are made of Thermopal or anodised aluminium and some are also fitted with holders for the intended devices. The steel side panels were powder coated to CD specifications and have ventilation slots and sealed cable inlets for internal computer and control technology. Some of the cabinets are fitted with stainless steel levelling feet and Footmaster casters, which can be specially fixed.
