A belt conveyor is required for the automatic processing of returned items of clothing in the mail order business. The returned items of clothing are packed in plastic bags and must be fired out of the packaging machine with great momentum into the collection bags on an overhead conveyor system. It should be possible to flexibly adapt the conveyor technology to the constantly changing requirements in the packaging industry. In particular, the system should be capable of safely transporting returned goods of different weight classes.
The versatile GUF-P 2000 belt conveyor from mk proved the simplest and most effective solution for this task. Thanks to a high degree of standardisation, the GUF-P 2000 is suitable for a wide variety of sizes and weights and is very flexible to use. Since very lightweight returns were to be conveyed in batches at high speed, in this case the GUF-P 2000 was equipped with a vacuum function. However, it can be operated with or without vacuum functionality. To use the vacuum, simply connect a suitable vacuum generator to the available nozzle. The perforation in the belt, through which the vacuum applies suction to the products, can be flexibly adapted to the transport task. All mk standard add-on parts such as stand systems, side rails and drives are compatible for use with this conveyor.
