SPU 2040 Accumulating Pallet Recirculation System

Interlinking of multiple workstations with different cycle or changeover times using cost-effective and dynamic feeding, buffering, positioning and separating of workpiece carriers.

mk Solution
The SPU 2040 accumulating pallet recirculation system allows for acyclic operation (i.e. independent of the infeed cycle) with automatic recirculation of the workpiece carriers. A flat top chain feeds the workpieces into the system on workpiece carriers. After the workpieces are removed, the empty workpiece carriers are safely carried over the tail and then conveyed back suspended below the transport level. At the start of the transport line they are conveyed back to the upper transport level, where they are available to accept new workpieces.
