Buffering Pallets in Food Production
Problem definition
Stacked pallets need to be dynamically buffered in a food production application. A storage capacity of about 500 pallets is required, which corresponds to about 30,000 products.
mk Solution
Buffer consisting of ZRF-P 2040.02 timing belt conveyors on two levels. The timing belt conveyors can run in reverse to eliminate empty spaces. Direct head drives make the timing belt conveyors especially flat, so that two levels can be implemented in a very tight space. Conveyor 1500 mm in length with a maximum total load capacity of 150 kg per conveyor.
