Removal of cardboard from a depalletiser

Task
Cardboard slip sheets must be removed from a depalletising machine. The slip sheets are both stacked on the conveyor and removed on the discharge end manually. During this process, they must be conveyed to a height of approx. 1,600 mm. The conveyor must be indexing and run in three-shift operation. The system is intended for the American market and must therefore comply with local regulations.

mk solution
A four-track conveyor with incline was designed based on the Versaflex A06 flat top conveyor system. Cams were mounted at appropriate distances to securely transport the cardboard stacks. Connection elements that function as a support table were mounted between the conveyor paths in the horizontal section of the conveyor. An angled sheet was mounted along the entire length of the conveyor which serves as a side rail to keep the cardboard on the track. As workers must work on the motor side, a protective guard was installed on that side. Appropriate interfaces were also provided for connection to the controller. The conveyor is UL-compliant and the packaging is suitable for sea and air freight.
