Expanding Interlink Systems for Food Production

Problem definition
An existing interlink for transferring pallets in a food production application needs to be expanded. Capacities and production need to be increased from about 500 pallets to around 1500 pallets. This corresponds to approximately 100,000 products in the final expansion stage. Spatial constraints must be accommodated. The system’s current control system needs to be modified accordingly. Existing components need to be reused.

mk Solution
Expansion and modification of an existing interlink. Addition of new functions such as stacking and destacking pallets. Exact positioning of pallets using stoppers and side rails.

Benefit to the customer

  • Significant increase in production capacity
  • Modular construction kit allows existing components to be reused to a high degree
